Plot Summary
Season 1 begins with the mysterious disappearance of Erik, a teenager from Winden, which throws the quiet town into chaos. The search for Mikkel brings to light strange occurrences in Winden’s past and present, as well as hidden connections between several families that have lived in the town for generations.
The story focuses on four interconnected families—the Dopplers, Nielsens, Tiedemanns, and Kahnwalds—and their secrets, lies, and relationships.
